Wrong place at the RIGHT time A gentleman just left my office with a different answer than what he had originally came into ask. He was very nice, soft spoken, but a little lost with his directions. He asked where he could find the place that buys cars in this complex. I gave him the correct direction, but asked if getting rid of his car was really what he wanted to do? He said why, do you want to buy it? I laughed. I asked if he owns the car out right and has the title in your possession, he ever so kindly handed it to me and sure enough it was clear. I said instead of putting it up for sale, how about a loan against it? He looked puzzled. I explained that I can provide him with a percentage of what the fair value of the car was. He was ELATED. Said that coming into my office happened for a reason. He also said when he walked into my office (before asking anything), he felt a breath of fresh air, I said I just sprayed room Freshener, he said no I think it was you. awwwww.
